Track tensioner wheel. Width of the inner guiding flange 30mm complete with shaft.
Idler wheels ITR for mini excavators and compact loaders are manufactured using the latest automated design and production processes.
ITR Tensioner Wheel for HYUNDAI ROBEX35
They are made from selected high-quality steel alloys and properly heat-treated to ensure exceptional field performance in extreme working conditions. Idler wheels ITR are assembled using state-of-the-art seals and bearing designs, produced according to the industry's most stringent specifications. Assembly takes place on assembly lines with an automatic oil filling process. Idler wheels can be selected in various configurations:
- Tensioner wheel shell
- Tensioner wheel with bushing and shaft
- Tensioner wheel with brackets
- Tensioner wheel with fork
- Tensioner wheel with adjuster
Quality of ITR Tensioner Wheels
The range of tensioner wheels includes equipment from mini excavators to mining machines from KUBOTA® K008 (machine working weight 0.9 tons) to KOMATSU® D475 A5 (machine working weight 101 tons). Engineering and R&D departments are located in Italy, South Korea, and China and collaborate to combine know-how, technology, and development capabilities. Engineering departments located in each production facility have specific knowledge of locally produced components, while the headquarters Italian Engineering coordinates all activities.
Functionality of ITR Tensioner Wheels
The function of the tensioner wheel is to support the track chain and guide it to be properly wound. Additionally, the tensioner wheel and adjuster work together to maintain a specific degree of track tension. The most important controllable factor in undercarriage wear is the correct chain tension. The correct sag for all conventional tracks is about 50mm (+-5mm). For example, a track on an 80-horsepower machine with a sag of 12mm will have a tension value of 2540 kg when measured at the track adjuster. The same machine with a suggested sag of 50mm will have a tension value of 362 kg. An excessively tight track increases pressure, causing greater wear on the track bushings when in contact with the drive wheel teeth and in the chain-tensioner wheel-roller contact. Tread hardness equal to or greater than the chain links, drive and support rollers ensures impact resistance and balanced durability. Material type: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Lifetime lubrication to minimize maintenance.
