Tension wheels are a key element in maintaining proper tension and guiding the track chain, which translates into its proper winding. They work with the tensioner to maintain optimal tension, which is crucial for the durability of the undercarriage. Correct tension setting, for example, 50 mm (+-5mm) for conventional tracks, has a significant impact on the wear and performance of the machine. For instance, an overly tensioned chain can lead to increased wear of the track bushings and drive wheel teeth. The appropriate hardness of the tread, equal to or greater than the chain links and track rollers, ensures resistance to damage and increases durability. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication contributes to minimizing maintenance during operation.

Sie arbeiten mit dem Spanner zusammen, um die optimale Spannung zu halten, was für die Haltbarkeit des Fahrwerks entscheidend ist. Die korrekte Einstellung der Spannung, z. B. 50 mm (+-5 mm) für konventionelle Ketten, hat großen Einfluss auf Verschleiß und Leistung der Maschine.
