Spannrad PEL JOB LS386
Idler wheels the track. The width of the inner guide flange is 40mm complete with a shaft.
Idler wheels ITR for mini excavators and compact loaders provide optimal track tension by using the latest design and manufacturing technologies.
ITR Tensioning Wheel for PEL JOB LS386
Our Idler wheels are made from selected high-quality steel alloys and are properly heat-treated to ensure exceptional field performance in extreme working conditions. We assemble them using state-of-the-art seals and bearing constructions that meet the industry's strictest specifications. Our Idler wheels are assembled on production lines with an automatic oil filling process, ensuring their reliability and durability.
They are available in various configurations, including:
- Tensioning wheel shell
- Tensioning wheel with bushing and shaft
- Tensioning wheel with brackets
- Tensioning wheel with fork
- Tensioning wheel with adjuster
Our Idler wheels are designed to meet all demanding work requirements, ensuring reliability and long service life.
Quality of ITR Tensioning Wheels
Our range includes a wide selection of tensioning wheels, from mini excavators to mining machinery, ensuring high quality and performance. Starting from KUBOTA® K008 (with an operating weight of 0.9 tons) to KOMATSU® D475 A5 (with an operating weight of 101 tons), we offer comprehensive solutions. Our engineering and R&D departments in Italy, South Korea, and China collaborate to combine know-how, technology, and development capabilities. Local engineering departments at each production facility possess specialized knowledge about the components produced, while the Italian Engineering headquarters coordinates all activities.
Functionality of ITR Tensioning Wheels
The function of a tensioning wheel is to properly tension and guide the track chain, ensuring its correct winding. The tensioning wheel and adjuster work together to maintain a specified degree of track tension. Efficient chain tension is a key factor affecting undercarriage durability. The optimal deflection for conventional tracks is about 50mm (+-5mm). For example, a track in an 80-horsepower machine with a 12mm deflection will have a tension of 2540 kg when measured at the track adjuster. Meanwhile, the same machine, with the suggested 50mm deflection, will have a tension of 362 kg. An overly tight track increases pressure, leading to greater wear on track bushings and drive wheel teeth, as well as contact between the chain, tensioning wheel, and rollers. Appropriate tread hardness, equal to or greater than the chain links and running and supporting rollers, ensures impact resistance and balanced durability. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication minimizes maintenance throughout its service life.
