ITR Tensioning Wheel for VOLVO EC15 BXT

They are made from selected high-quality steel alloys and properly heat-treated to ensure exceptional field performance in extreme working conditions. Idler wheels ITR are assembled using state-of-the-art seals and bearing designs, produced according to the most stringent specifications in the industry. Assembly takes place on production lines with an automatic oil filling process. Idler wheels can be selected in various configurations:

  • Tensioning wheel shell

Quality of ITR Tensioning Wheels

The range of tensioning wheels covers equipment from mini excavators to mining machinery from KUBOTA® K008 (machine operating weight 0.9 tons) to KOMATSU® D475 A5 (machine operating weight 101 tons). Engineering and R&D departments are located in Italy, South Korea, and China and collaborate to combine know-how, technology, and development capabilities. Engineering departments located in each production plant possess specific knowledge about locally produced components, while the headquarters of Italian Engineering coordinates all activities.

Functionality of ITR Tensioning Wheels

The function of the tensioning wheel is to support the track chain and guide it so that it is properly wound. Additionally, the tensioning wheel and tensioner work together to maintain a specified degree of track tension. The most important controllable factor in undercarriage wear is the correct tension of the chain. The correct sag for all conventional tracks is about 50mm (+-5mm). For example, a track in a machine with an 80-horsepower engine with a sag of 12mm will have a tension value of 2540 kg when measured at the track tensioner. The same machine with the recommended sag of 50 mm will have a tension value of 362 kg. An excessively tense track increases pressure, causing greater wear on the track bushings when in contact with the sprocket teeth and in the chain-tensioning wheel-roller contact. The tread hardness equal to or greater than that of the chain links, drive and support rollers ensures impact resistance and balanced durability. Material type: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Lifetime lubrication to minimize maintenance.

Qualität der ITR Spannräder

Das Angebot an Spannrädern umfasst Geräte von Minibaggern bis hin zu Bergbaumaschinen von KUBOTA® K008 (Arbeitsgewicht der Maschine 0,9 Tonnen) bis KOMATSU® D475 A5 (Arbeitsgewicht der Maschine 101 Tonnen). Die Engineering- und F&E-Abteilungen befinden sich in Italien, Südkorea und China und arbeiten zusammen, um Know-how, Technologie und Entwicklungskapazitäten zu bündeln. Funktionalität der ITR Spannräder

Die Funktion des Spannrads besteht darin, die Kette zu stützen und so zu führen, dass sie korrekt aufgewickelt wird. Darüber hinaus arbeiten Spannrad und Spanner zusammen, um eine bestimmte Kettenspannung aufrechtzuerhalten. Der wichtigste kontrollierbare Faktor beim Verschleiß des Fahrwerks ist die korrekte Kettenspannung. Das korrekte Durchhangmaß für alle herkömmlichen Ketten beträgt etwa 50 mm (+-5 mm). Beispielsweise hat die Kette einer Maschine mit 80 PS bei einem Durchhang von 12 mm eine Spannung von 2540 kg zum Zeitpunkt der Messung am Kettenspanner. Dieselbe Maschine mit dem empfohlenen Durchhang von 50 mm hat eine Spannung von 362 kg. Eine übermäßig gespannte Kette erhöht den Druck, was zu höherem Verschleiß an den Kettenbuchsen beim Kontakt mit den Zähnen des Antriebsrades sowie beim Kontakt Kette-Spannrad-Rollen führt. Die Härte der Lauffläche, die gleich oder höher als die der Kettenglieder, Laufrollen und Stützrollen ist, gewährleistet Schlagfestigkeit und ausgewogene Haltbarkeit. Materialart: SCMn3A, Härtung 50-55 HRC. Schmierung für die gesamte Lebensdauer zur Minimierung des Wartungsaufwands.
