Quality of ITR Tension Wheels
Our store offers a wide selection of high-quality tension wheels, perfect for both mini-excavators and mining machines. In our range, you will find everything from KUBOTA® K008 (with an operating weight of 0.9 tons) to KOMATSU® D475 A5 (with an operating weight of 101 tons). We operate in Italy, South Korea, and China, where our engineering departments continuously improve production technology. Thanks to local engineering branches in each production facility, our tension wheels are tailored to the specifics of the local market. The entire process is coordinated by the Italian Engineering headquarters, ensuring the highest quality and operational efficiency.
Functionality of ITR Tension Wheels
Tension wheels are a key element in maintaining the correct tension and guidance of the track chain, which affects its proper winding. They work with the tensioner to maintain optimal tension, which is crucial for the durability of the undercarriage. Proper tension setting, e.g., 50 mm (+-5mm) for conventional tracks, significantly affects the machine's wear and performance. For example, an overly tight chain can lead to increased wear of the track sleeve and drive wheel teeth. The appropriate hardness of the tread, equal to or greater than that of the track links and support rollers, provides resistance to damage and increases durability. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication contributes to minimizing maintenance during operation.
