Tensioning wheels are a key element in maintaining proper tension and guidance of the track chain, which translates to its proper winding. They work with the tensioner to maintain optimal tension, which is crucial for the durability of the undercarriage. Correct tension setting, for example, 50 mm (+-5mm) for conventional tracks, significantly impacts wear and machine performance. For instance, an overly tightened chain can lead to greater wear of the track bushing and sprocket teeth. The appropriate hardness of the tread, equal to or greater than that of the chain links, as well as the running and support rollers, ensures resistance to damage and increases durability. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication contributes to minimizing maintenance during operation.
