Tension wheels are a key element in maintaining the proper tension and guidance of the track chain, affecting its correct winding. They work with the adjuster to maintain optimal tension, which is crucial for chassis durability. Correct tension setting, e.g., 50 mm (+-5mm) for conventional tracks, significantly impacts machine wear and performance. For instance, an excessively tight chain can lead to greater wear of the track bushing and drive wheel teeth. Appropriate tread hardness, equal to or greater than chain links and running and supporting rollers, ensures damage resistance and increases durability. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication contributes to minimizing maintenance during operation.
