Tension wheels are a key component in maintaining the proper tension and guidance of the track chain, contributing to its correct winding. They collaborate with the tensioner to maintain optimal tension, which is crucial for undercarriage durability. Correct tension setting, e.g., 50 mm (+-5mm) for conventional tracks, significantly impacts machine wear and performance. For instance, an overly tight chain can lead to increased wear on the track bushings and sprocket teeth. Appropriate tread hardness, equal to or greater than the chain links and support and carrier rollers, ensures resistance to damage and increases longevity. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication contributes to minimizing maintenance during operation.

Sie arbeiten mit dem Spanner zusammen, um die optimale Spannung zu halten, was für die Langlebigkeit des Fahrwerks entscheidend ist. Die richtige Spannungseinstellung, z.B. 50 mm (+-5 mm) für konventionelle Ketten, beeinflusst maßgeblich den Verschleiß und die Leistung der Maschine.
