ITR Tensioning Wheel for HINOWA PT70
Our tensioning wheels are made from selected high-quality steel alloys and are properly heat-treated to ensure exceptional field performance in extreme working conditions. We assemble them using state-of-the-art seals and bearing constructions, meeting the most stringent industry specifications. Our tensioning wheels are assembled on production lines with an automatic oil filling process, ensuring their reliability and durability.
They are available in various configurations, which include:
- Tensioning wheel shell
- Tensioning wheel with bushing and shaft
- Tensioning wheel with brackets
- Tensioning wheel with fork
- Tensioning wheel with tensioner
Our tensioning wheels are designed to meet all work requirements in tough conditions, ensuring reliability and long lifespan.
Quality of ITR Tensioning Wheels
Our range includes a wide selection of tensioning wheels, from mini excavators to mining machines, ensuring high quality and performance. Starting from KUBOTA® K008 (with an operating weight of 0.9 tons) up to KOMATSU® D475 A5 (with an operating weight of 101 tons), we offer comprehensive solutions. Our engineering and R&D departments in Italy, South Korea, and China collaborate to combine know-how, technology, and development capabilities. Local engineering departments at each production site possess specialized knowledge about the manufactured components, and the Italian Engineering headquarters coordinates all activities.
Functionality of ITR Tensioning Wheels
The function of the tensioning wheel is to properly tension and guide the track chain, ensuring its correct winding. The tensioning wheel and tensioner work together to maintain a specified degree of track tension. Efficient chain tensioning is a critical factor affecting the durability of the undercarriage. Optimal sag for conventional tracks is about 50mm (+-5mm). For example, a track in an 80-horsepower machine with a sag of 12mm will have a tension of 2540 kg at the time of measurement in the track tensioner. On the other hand, the same machine, with the suggested sag of 50 mm, will have a tension of 362 kg. An overly tensioned track increases pressure, leading to greater wear of the track bushing and sprocket teeth, as well as contact of the chain with the tensioning wheel and rollers. Appropriate tread hardness, equal to or greater than the chain links and supporting rollers, ensures impact resistance and balanced durability. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication ensures minimized maintenance throughout its operational life.
