Our Tension wheels are made from selected high-quality steel alloys and are properly heat-treated to ensure exceptional field performance in extreme working conditions. We install them using state-of-the-art seals and bearing designs that meet the most stringent specifications in the industry. Our Tension wheels are assembled on production lines with an automatic oil filling process, ensuring their reliability and durability.

Functionality of ITR Tension Wheels

The function of the tension wheel is to properly tension and guide the track chain, ensuring its proper winding. The tension wheel and tensioner work together to maintain a specific degree of track tension. Efficient chain tension is a key factor affecting undercarriage durability. The optimal sag for conventional tracks is about 50mm (+-5mm). For example, a track on an 80-horsepower machine with a sag of 12mm will have a tension of 2540 kg at the time of measurement in the track tensioner. Meanwhile, the same machine, with the suggested sag of 50 mm, will have a tension of 362 kg. An overly tightened track increases pressure, leading to greater wear on the track bushings and sprocket teeth, as well as the chain's contact with the tension wheel and rollers. Proper tread hardness, equal to or greater than the chain links and the running and supporting rollers, ensures impact resistance and balanced durability. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication minimizes maintenance throughout the service life.

Funktionalität der ITR Umlenkräder

Die Funktion des Umlenkrades besteht darin, die Kettenschlaufe der Laufkette korrekt zu spannen und zu führen, um ein richtiges Aufwickeln zu gewährleisten. Umlenkrad und Spanner arbeiten zusammen, um einen definierten Kettenspannungsgrad aufrechtzuerhalten. Eine ordnungsgemäße Kettenspannung ist ein entscheidender Faktor für die Haltbarkeit des Fahrwerks. Die optimale Durchbiegung für konventionelle Ketten beträgt etwa 50 mm (+-5 mm). Zum Beispiel hat die Kette einer Maschine mit 80 PS bei einer Durchbiegung von 12 mm eine Spannung von 2540 kg, gemessen im Kettenspanner. Dieselbe Maschine hingegen hat bei der empfohlenen Durchbiegung von 50 mm eine Spannung von 362 kg. Eine übermäßig gespannte Kette erhöht den Druck, was zu höherem Verschleiß der Kettenbuchsen und der Zähne des Antriebsrades sowie zum Kontakt der Kette mit Umlenkrad und Laufrollen führt. Die geeignete Härte des Kettenlaufs, gleich oder höher als die der Kettenglieder und Lauf- sowie Tragrollen, gewährleistet Schlagfestigkeit und ausgewogene Haltbarkeit. Material: SCMn3A, Härtung 50-55 HRC. Dauerhafte Schmierung minimiert den Wartungsaufwand über die gesamte Nutzungsdauer.
