ITR Tensioning Wheel for VOLVO ECR58
They are made from selected high-quality steel alloys and appropriately heat-treated to ensure exceptional field performance in extreme working conditions. Tensioning wheels ITR are assembled using state-of-the-art seals and bearing designs, manufactured according to the most stringent specifications in the industry. Assembly takes place on assembly lines with an automatic oil filling process. Tensioning wheels can be chosen in various configurations:

Functionality of ITR Tensioning Wheels
The function of the tensioning wheel is to support the track chain and guide it so that it is properly wound. Additionally, the tensioning wheel and tensioner work together to maintain a specific degree of track tension. The most important controllable factor in undercarriage wear is the correct chain tension. The correct sag for all conventional tracks is about 50mm (+-5mm). For example, a track on a machine with 80 horsepower and a sag of 12mm will have a tension value of 2540 kg when measured at the track tensioner. The same machine with the suggested sag of 50mm will have a tension value of 362 kg. An excessively tensioned track increases pressure, causing greater wear on the track bushings when in contact with the drive wheel teeth and in the chain-tensioning wheel-roller contact. Tread hardness equal to or greater than the chain links, drive, and support rollers ensures impact resistance and balanced durability. Material type: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Lifetime lubrication to minimize maintenance.
