They are manufactured from selected high-quality steel alloys and properly heat-treated to ensure exceptional field performance in extreme working conditions. Track tension wheels ITR are assembled using state-of-the-art seals and bearing designs, produced according to the most stringent industry specifications. Assembly takes place on assembly lines with an automatic oil filling process. Track tension wheels can be selected in various configurations:

Quality of ITR Track Tension Wheels
The range of tension wheels includes equipment from mini excavators to mining machines from KUBOTA® K008 (machine operating weight 0.9 tons) to KOMATSU® D475 A5 (machine operating weight 101 tons). Functionality of ITR Track Tension Wheels
The function of the track tension wheel is to support the track chain and guide it to be properly wound. Additionally, the tension wheel and tensioner work together to maintain a certain level of track tension. The most important controllable factor in undercarriage wear is the correct chain tension. The correct deflection for all conventional tracks is about 50mm (+-5mm). For example, the track in an 80-horsepower machine with a 12mm deflection will have a tension of 2540 kg when measured at the track tensioner. The same machine with the suggested 50mm deflection will have a tension of 362 kg. An overly tensioned track increases pressure, causing greater wear on the track bushings when in contact with the drive sprocket teeth and in the chain-tension wheel-roller contact. Tread hardness equal to or greater than the chain links, drive rollers, and support rollers ensures resistance to impacts and balanced durability. Material type: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Lubrication for the entire service life to minimize maintenance.
